Sorry, that’s just straight up incorrect. I attended all three tiers of the caucus (1. precinct, 2. county, and 3. state). In order to be eligible to even attend the State convention as a delegate or alternate, you had to have participated in both of those first two tiers. And in order to participate in either of those, you had to be a registered Democrat. The state delegates who attended Saturday’s convention were elected at the end of the county convention. We didn’t “register” to do that. We filled out paperwork expressing interest, and the campaigns chose us.
