I’ve been beating back the perfectionism for a couple of years now, and I know I hit a milestone last week, when a developer at the company I work at, came up with a better idea for a UI interaction element and it didn’t LOOK as nice as my design, and I said: “This is better for usability, let’s do it. We can pretty it up later.”

I think my coworkers were stunned to hear that come out of a designer’s mouth.
