Tsotsi is a 2005 crime drama film written and directed by Gavin Hood and produced by Peter Fudakowski.It is an adaptation of the novel Tsotsi, by Athol Fugard and is a South African/UK co-production. Redemption: redemption is most apparent when Tsotsi is talking to Isaiah about god. Tsotsi learns that threw the power of good and religion he can redeem himself. He can move past what his live is now and become a contributing member to society. We also notice that tsotsi redeems himself while talking to Boston after beating him up. He first takes him home, and then takes care of him long enough for them to talk. They talk about why Tsotsi is changing his ways and doesn’t want to be thug, and tsotsi asks him questions about live. Boston tells him he should go talk to Isaiah.

Survival: survival is developed in the story because tsotsi is a young boy living alone and being a thug. He learns to take care of himself which is most likely why he does not value other people’s lives. He lives to protect himself and only care about himself. New slots 2021 free. He learns what he has to do by trusting others and letting people into his live which is something he is not accustomed too. Then at the end of the story his beliefs for survival change again by risking his own life to save the baby’s.
