About Canada’s Express Entry System:

The IRCC introduced the Express Entry system in January 2015. Since then, Express Entry has been electronically accepting, managing and processing PR applications from skilled foreign nations under the following economic immigration programs:

applying with a partner;
language proficiency in English, French, or both;
education level; and

The documents required for the Express entry depend on two stages:

How to Apply for the Canada Express Entry Visa?

What is the basic eligibility criteria for a Canada Express Entry PR Visa?

To be eligible to apply for a Canada PR under the Express Entry system, you will need a minimum score of 67 points out of 100 to qualify.

You will be evaluated on the following factors:

Age - 12 points (Max)

Education - 25 points (Max)

Language Proficiency - 24 points (Max)

Work Experience - 15 points (Max)

Adaptability - 10 points (Max)

Arranged employment - 10 points (Additional - not mandatory).

How does Express Entry work?

If you fill out a profile for Express Entry, your application will be ranked according to a points system.
If you are highly ranked, you will be invited to apply for permanent residence as a skilled immigrant.
Once you have applied, your PR application will then be processed within the next 6 months.

How Does Express Entry Choose People for PR?

Once you submit a profile, your profile will be entered into a pool (group) of all the people who have currently applied for Express Entry.
You will then be ranked against other people in the pool. Your ranking is based on the number of points you have.
If you are at the top of the rankings, your profile will be drawn (selected) from the list of applications. You will then get an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residence as a skilled immigrant.

Proof of Funds

Apart from paying the Canada pr processing fee from India, you must also show that you have the minimum required funds to support yourself and accompanying family members in Canada. Candidates applying through the following immigration programs need to provide proof of funds:

These funds aren’t included in the Canada pr cost from India. Instead, they are just a proof of the fact that you will be able to support yourself and your family members for the first few years in Canada. This is done to minimize the burden on social welfare and healthcare programs.

The amount of money here is calculated on the basis of number of accompanying family members. This money will be used to support:

Yourself
Your dependent children
Your accompanying spouse or common-law partner

The funds included as proof must be available to you at all times. Therefore, you cannot show borrowed funds, equity or real estate as proof of funds. If your spouse of common-law partner is accompanying you, then you can show funds in your joint account as proof. Further, an official letter from your bank or financial institution will be required as proof. This letter must include:

The letterhead of the financial institution
Contact information of the financial institution
Your name and contact details
List of all your outstanding debts and loans
