Improbable Connections

Looking at unnoticed city corners or lost objects, listening to musical subtleties, observing a group of people gathering together. They may seem too ordinary or simply matter for good poetry.

Some folks may say we should “connect the dots” (Steve Jobs used to say that), “be resilient in a V.U.C.A. (volatile, uncertain, complex, ambiguous) world” (any contemporary leader will recommend that), “think outside the box” (most creative under pressure situations will require that) or “having creative confidence” (being authentic while solving wicked problems).

Indeed we have been pushed beyond our mental, physical and endurance faculties to cope with daily (over)doses of disruption, as we are living in a transition period, not so sure where we are heading to.

I have been intrigued by the “how” we should move forward.

I may also have been much inspired by amazing concepts that keeps our minds, hearts and souls quite busy like cognitive bias, dialogic, integrative thinking, obliquity, abductive reasoning, lateral thinking, transdisciplinarity, behavior economics, synchronicity, narrative patterning or polarity management.

From now on I invite you to join this monthly blog, a self paced (transformation) journey on the art of seeing, correlating, abducting and building bridges, be my guest.
