You are what you eat. We have been told this since we were young, but it is so true. If you put garbage into your body, you will feel like garbage! You’re not going to change your body without changing your mindset. Spend the time and do some research. Gain some knowledge that will make your life better. A few shifts in your diet can make you feel better and have more energy on the daily!

First thing I want you to do is find a mirror. (Go ahead, I’ll wait.) Found one? Okay. Do you like the person you see in the mirror? Are you happy with your health? If the answer to one or both of those questions is no, then let me say that YOU are the only person you have to impress! You are the only person that can make you feel better!

So, let’s start with a word of advice … we must be adaptable! Human beings are meant to adapt. We have done it for as long as we have walked this beautiful planet we call Earth! You may say “I like what I’m eating though!” and that’s fine! But I encourage you to research the options. There are so many resources out there to help you!

Let me start you off with four simple shifts you can make to improve your health and your happiness and most importantly your energy! Research for yourself and make your own decision!

  • Cut out soda/juice and replace it with water.
  • Adopt a plant based diet and removed all animal products.
  • Fuel your body on raw foods/fruits and veggies/rice/potatoes/beans/no oils
  • Food will either slow you down or speed you up, so think about that before you eat.

Easy enough, right? It seems to just be common sense that eating bad foods are bad for you, yet so many of us do it! But keep this in mind: Nothing tastes better than being fit and healthy feels!
I want to end with a question for you all. Write down the answer to this. Look at it. Think about it.

Are you living to eat or are you eating to live?
Be willing to let go of the person you were to become the person you can be.
