This is possibly the most positive response to the memo I’ve seen to date. I’ve read rants against it (including the one you linked from Zunger), criticisms of it (including mine, where I acknowledge good points it makes and where it falls short), and woeful responses to the employee’s firing, but it’s great to see that some people are willing to engage and talk about this rather than shove it under the rug. Thank you for writing this.
