Please examine the photo more closely. You will notice that the framing of the photo caught the blue heart such that the exact wording seen is “OREVER”… The word “OR” implies a choice between two options. The heart’s journey home to FOREVER involves a choice, not ours, but His, as He has promised in the Scripture, when He sends us to one of two EVERS… The choice, choices left unto us are in the now, in the limited time left in this life till our return, as promised, unto Him.

I took the photo in 2004. The choice to clip the heart was deliberate, as I have for long liked the “immediacy” and real feel of catching partial shapes and words that prompt the mind of the observer to fill in what sits out the frame, not to mention calling attention to our unconscious tendency to do so too too often as we go about life, such that we are not seeing things for what they are but what we expect them to be, and this I do to try to reach you and remind me to pay attention, to notice what otherwise goes unnoticed for what it truly is… As I said, the framing, the clipping was deliberate and done in 2004, but I had no idea, not conscious and I cannot say whether unconscious, of the symbolism and significance of the word “OREVER,” of the seeing the word for what it is and what it means now, in the context of my “creative” act this morn (am I the creator, or am I just listening, just paying attention?). All I did was look a little closer, examine my life, my immediate past, about 15 minutes ago, and I noticed… Alhamdulillah ❤
