I did not say you engaged in ad hominem. I said you engaged in name calling. Look at Graham’s hierarchy of disagreement. Name-calling is below ad hominem.

That said, the misconception you linked does not even apply to you. It applies only to people who made substantive, coherent arguments, but also threw in a few insults. You have not even tried to address the substance of any argument anyone has made. The only thing you have done is call people names.

You have accomplished two things. You have made yourself feel good, temporarily (selfish). You have also made people less likely to support your cause (counter-productive). I hope you don’t advocate for any cause I care about because you are the worst type of political ally.
