First, I’m not an expert on the drug, nor am I a researcher with any medical training. However, I do know that during an 11 year period in a study in the US, that more than 700 people died from Toxoplasmosis. With that information, I would support the company holding the rights to the medicine continually looking for improvements. That is the ethical thing to do. Second, Turing is a private business. The market will determine if that business decision was appropriate. I tend to find that private businesses should be expected to make a profit or they will close. I’m comfortable with any private business making money regardless of the virtual.
