Setup SFTP in Windows 11
- Go to Settings > Apps > Optional features and click on View features. Locate “OpenSSH server” feature, select it, click Next, and then click Install.
- Install the Open SSH Server
3. Create an inbound rule in Firewall for port no. 22.
Click on New Rule.
Select Rule Type as TCP, Specify the port 22.
Provide any name here:
Once the inbound rule is created, click ‘Finish’, and then the record will be saved.
Restart Open SSH Server,
3. Start the Open SSH Services
4. Download and install WinSCP or FileZilla
sftp://<Ip Address>
Hostname = <Ip Address>
Username = PC username
Password = PC password
