GitHub is a web-based hosting service for version control using Git. GitHub host almost all of the world’s most famous open source code bases. I came to know about GitHub 2 years ago, and since then It became my most visited website.

GitHub has this huge code base collection which is open for everyone to review, change and contribute. I can create my own project and host on GitHub. It gives me freedom to host my code free of cost. It helped me understand and improve my coding skill. GitHub given me so many learning that I can not be more thankful to them. It introduced me to the open source world and it helped me understand there exist a world of great programmers or may be the greatest programmer. It given me the exposure to the whole new world.

GitHub is also now supporting students to grow and contribute back to community. GitHub is supporting the local chapters and other community event to make programming accessible.

GitHub is great piece of engineering I came across and can not be more thankful to them.
