Oh, Mondays!

It’s Monday? That Fast?

Dear Monday, I Hate You!

The very mention of this word sends shivers down most people’s spines. It’s the day everyone loves to hate.

But what if I told you that Mondays should be everyone’s favorite day?

Yes, I know what you’re thinking,

“What kind of crazy talk is that?”

But hear me out.

First of all, let’s address the elephant in the room.

The reason most people hate Mondays is that it’s the end of the weekend, and we have to go back to work.

But let’s be real here, what did you do on the weekend?

Did you have a productive weekend?
Did you go out and have fun with your friends?
Or did you just binge-watch Netflix and eat junk food?

If you’re anything like me, it’s probably the latter.

So, if we’re not doing anything productive on the weekends,
Why are we so sad when it’s over?

It’s not like we’re going to miss our Netflix marathon or the pizza we ate. We should be excited to start a new week, to get back to work, and to be productive.

Plus, Mondays are a fresh start.

You get to start a new week with a clean slate. You have the chance to make this week better than the last. It’s like a mini–New Year’s every week.

Who doesn’t love a chance to start fresh?

Another reason Mondays should be everyone’s favorite day is that it’s the day when we get to catch up with our colleagues. Yes, I know, you may not like all your colleagues, but there’s always that one person who brightens up your day. Maybe it’s the guy who brings in donuts every Monday or the woman who tells you all about her weekend adventures.

Whatever it is, Mondays are the perfect day to catch up with your colleagues, share stories, and just have some laughs.

… But wait, there’s more!

Monday is also the perfect day to set goals and plan out your week. It’s the day to look at your to-do list and figure out what you need to accomplish this week. And, if you’re feeling ambitious, you can even plan out your meals and workouts for the week.

And let’s not forget about the fact that Monday is the perfect day to wear your favorite outfit. It’s the start of the week, and what better way to start it off than by looking and feeling your best?

So, there you have it, folks.

Mondays should be everyone’s favorite day of the week. It’s a day to start over, catch up with coworkers, set goals, and put on your favorite outfit. It may take some time to adjust your perspective, but once you do, you’ll realize that Mondays aren’t so bad after all.
