I love the way that I love: fearlessly. I intend to keep loving that way. It was for this reason that I decided to go it alone: no relationship, no dating, no pretend dating, no almost dating, no “sugar free” candy. Just a sacred time with myself
The Sanctity of Love
Christa Fatoumata Sylla

Beautifully said, thank you so much for writing this. I’ve been in one serious relationship and I’ve also had a brief stint dating a guy and I could totally relate with the two extremes of wanting too much and too little. I’ve only figured out recently that I also look at and feel love as something sacred and at times, I have questioned if it was wrong to love too much — if there was such a thing. But I’ve also reconciled with myself that maybe I will meet an individual who will genuinely accept all of the love I have to give and will also share himself with me.
