The lord of darkness fears TRUTH

The Duterte regime isn’t conducting an anti-terror campaign. What it has launched is a major crackdown on LEGAL dissenters.

It uses the Hitlerian tactic of repeating a lie as many times as it can to buttress a blatantly unconstitutional program.

The lie is two-fold:

1) Call then communists

2) Equate the tag with terrorist

The first ignores the fact that the anti-subversion law was repealed so many years ago. The first explains why LEGAL documents of unions, urban poor groups and human rights and environmental organizations are presented as “evidence”.

The second comes with the most brazen displays of “planting” of arms.

The government knows that most cases will be ultimately thrown out of court. Judges have already reprimanded them for using fantastical tales.

But a government headed by pathological liars does not care. It knows the justice system moves slowly. It’s main goal is to take out activists, mass leaders, documenters of human rights violations out of the legal democratic space.

The interior secretary has betrayed the reason for this, as has that posturing twerp in the communications department: they need to turnaround the clobbering they have taken in the public sphere.

They need to stop the dilution of their trust ratings because of the VERY REAL TRUTH : that while they have murdered thousands of poor Filipinos, their own hand-picked people are neck deep in the apparatus of the illegal narcotics trade.

They need to stop the embarrassment of being exposed as a government that has been delivering the nation – waters and lands and what lie underneath, and people – to its Chinese masters and other foreign and local patrons.

They need this badly because most of its development goals hinge on exploitation of our resources – and brutally demolishing people and groups protecting the environment and the economic rights of tillers and guardians of the land.

They need a halt to the unraveling truth of the effects of economic policies that further burden the poor while allowing rich pals to bathe in profits.

It is not a time for silence. The forgetting of these truths is what they seek.

It is a time to roar in rage and defiance, to confront the lies with the truth – truths they cannot parry.

Do not tire of exposing the rot of this regime. Do not tire of casting a spotlight on its lies. The lord of darkness fears light the most.

Be strong. We WILL overcome.

Padayon!
