1. Bob Marley Museum

Take a tour of the Bob Marley Museum, which is dedicated to the Reggae Superstar Bob Nesta Marley. See the features of the 19th-century architecture, the home of Marley’s original studio, where he recorded his international hits and lived until 1981. After his passing, it converted into a museum by his wife Rita Marley. Displays of Marley’s personal treasures is in the main museum. Head on over to the gift shops, which is also a part of the museum, and buy a souvenir from a wide array of Bob Marley memorabilia. Then relax and enjoy a sumptuous meal from One Love Cafe, and as the locals would say “Yea man.”

2. Dunn’s River Falls

Known as the waterfalls or springs, Dunn’s River Falls is a one of a kind, uniquely design masterpiece. If you like rock climbing, then get ready to climb the falls, with a group of people, and hold hands as you climb up the falls, to secure you from falling. The calcium carbonate from the river, which flows over the falls, will soothe your body, leaving you feeling cool and refreshed. One of Jamaica’s national treasure, located in Ocho Rios, and well-known as the Reggae music. A combination of being close to the sea, and a small dome-shaped cataract with thermal spring activity found in limestone caves, makes it unique. After a long day of rock climbing and swimming, you are sure to be parched. Change your clothes in the dressing rooms provided down the fall, then buy refreshments and food at the cafeteria. You can also head into the main town of Ocho Rios, where you will find local Restaurants, shops, and music bars.

3. Dolphin Cove

If swimming with Dolphins is on your bucket list, then Dolphin Cove in Jamaica is the place to go. Swim in the Caribbean Sea with Dolphins, different fishes, and other forms of natural sea life. The opportunity to ride a camel, and interact with stingrays, will be fulfilling. It’s family friendly with lots of adventures, of natural wonders and beauty. Enjoy nature and stroll around in the Jungle Trail, and see different wild animals, plants and trees. It has also been considered as the NUMBER ONE attraction in Jamaica.

For a tropical scenic Paradise, you will find this on the seven-mile beach in Negril Jamaica. Lined with luxurious hotel resorts, whether you are looking for family-friendly, or rustic and romantic, Negril has it all. Make sure you book your reservations sooner than later, during the tourist season in winter and spring. Enjoy endless options of sweet Reggae music, local Jamaican Restaurants with immaculate food, such as Jerk chicken or pork, cold drink like rum, beer and exotic mixes for the alcoholic inclined. Then head on over to the famous Rick’s Cafe in West End Negril, to view the beautiful sunset.

5. Blue Hole

Whenever you’re in Ocho Rios, if you want to see a more quiet paradise, The Blue Hole is the place to go. You’ll be amazed by the nature of the beautiful springs and waterfalls, that this location has to offer. It’s a bumpy ride to get there, but once you’re there, it’s a sight to behold. The exotic flowers and lush greenery will show that you are getting close. Two options to get in, you can swing in on a rope like Tarzan, or jump in. Once you’ve had enough swimming and jumping, ask your tour guide to show you the secret falls, otherwise known as the Island Gully Falls. If you’re up for some hiking, then this will be a trip to remember.

6. Mystic Mountain Rainforest

When you’re looking for adventure with options, you can find that at the Mystic Mountain Rainforest is Ocho Rios. Anything from Zip lining, Bobsledding or even bird watching. In the mountains, you will have to get a chair lift there, that will also give you a beautiful view of Ocho Rios. Photographers can take your pictures for a small price, but I would recommend you to bring your own cameras, that way you can waive the cost. After you get to the mountain, you will get a little history of our Jamaican Bobsled team, in the little museum. It’s fun for the whole family, with the waterslide, and a stunning view. Dive into nature with tours of the butterfly attraction garden, and the hummingbird garden. This will be a trip to remember, for years to come with you and your family.
