Fissures get widened within Congress — Dullo questions High Command
“Widening gaps within Congress party are surfaced in the open, with newly appointed Rajyasabha member and Punjab Congress Chief, Shamsher Singh Dullo taking a dig at appointment of Singer turned politician Hans Raj Hans, which was cancelled at eleventh hour.”

Shamsher Singh Dullo took up party command sternly and raised serious questions over nomination of Has Raj Hans to upper house, which was cancelled in last hour. Interacting with media persons at Jallandhar, Dullo took on heavily against high command and said that the new entrants should be made to stand in the queue before giving any major responsibility.
Questions raised over Hans

Referring to Hans, who has recently been inducted to party fold, Dullo said that how could the party high command even think of entrusting him the reasonability of representing upper house?
Dullo also stated that it was due to resentment from within the party that the high command was forced to retract from its decisions and instead his name was nominated. Justifying his nomination to upper house, Dullo stated that he had served the party for over 50 years and finally his hard work had paid off. He didn’t shy was from stating he was the most deserving candidate for the coveted position.
Questions over credential of Channi
Dullo didn’t even spare the appointment of Charanjit Singh Channi’s appointment as leader of opposition and went on record to state that party high command should give prominent position only to competent leaders.
He further questioned Channi’s credentials by saying. “Channi is inexperienced and needs to learn a lot evolve as a leader.”
It must be noted that Dullo is not the first Congress leaders to raise questions over appointment of Channi as leader of opposition. Resentment amongst the congress leaders is rising and majority of legislatures are not cooperating with him.
