Indian Ocean Outreach Report

Report of Epoch 1.0:
As mentioned earlier in the January chapter sprint article, we are proud to achieve all of the deliverables that we had outlined in our Indian Outreach Program during the Round-10 of the Ocean DAO.
We took on an ambitious set of deliverables and we established our goals sufficiently well to kick-start a reliable set of community which includes a subset of builders who will engage regularly with the Ocean DAO henceforth.
Our key highlights from our program are the following:
- Workshops(5) , Community call events(5) & a grand hack
- Social Media outreach of over a 1000+ followers
- Builder Community in Discord & Telegram: Total of 115 members
- Series of articles published on our Medium including guest writers
Community Outreach Initiatives:
We did a string of community outreach activities that were established in our Gitbook under partners track and community call activities.
Physical Event Outreach:
Social Media & Content outreach:
We achieved a total follower count of 1100+ across all channels.
We were active on our Medium & Twitter in terms of content outreach and engagement with the wider community.
Twitter: 1110+ Followers as of 29th January
We actively cover the developments from Ocean Protocol official handles, Ambassador activities & community activities.
Averaging 1k impressions per day over the past 91 day period.
Medium: 379 views readership rate of 43%
Our Medium contents have been super active with contents ranging from Proposal reviews, Project Guidance, Ocean DAO activities and Guest reviews, Writer bounties.

Ocean Stakeholders & Partners:
We had covered the summary of our exciting stakeholder interaction during our hackathon launch party with some amazing folks from the Ocean DAO & the Indian ecosystem. We are looking to strengthen the relationships with people in pipeline to add more value to the Ocean DAO ecosystem.
Workshops:
As responsible ambassadors of the Indian Ocean ecosystem, we intend to spread the values and fundamentals of the initiatives of Ocean Protocol and we had practiced our ‘kata’ with some value-add workshops that headed through out our outreach epoch.
Builder and Ambassador community:
Through our sustained social activities and community engagement we have also reached out to some talented communities within the Indian ecosystem. Our most active builders reside within our Discord & Telegram channels (110+ members across).
Quests and bounties:
Throughout our Twitter outreach campaigns, community calls we place a lot of easter egg bounties for the best Tweet-storms, Community call reviews with Bonus Ocean rewards ranging from 100–200 Ocean tokens :)!

Final hackathon — The great Indian Ocean Hack!
Through our hackathon journey, we have been able to interact with some amazing builders, writers and enthusiastic beginners in the AI*Web3 space.
We also thank the wonderful guests from our hackathon launch party followed by Ocean DAO ecosystem partners viz. Ocean Missions & Algovera.ai
Our Workshop sessions, Telegram & Discord have been proof of that! We are looking forward to chalk the results of the amazing hackathon submissions within a weeks time and have them engage with the Ocean DAO within the short span of 1 weeks time.
