Allahabad Location

Allahabad being a section of the famed Ganga-Jamuna Doab is enriched with a thriving biodiversity that consists in a wide range of rare fauna and flora. Allahabad is carpeted with vast stretches of alluvial soil. However, one can notice a slight difference in topography as one moves from the city’s north; i.e. from Gangapar towards the city’s south; i.e. towards Yamunapar. Gangapar is plain land, highly cultivable and remarkably fertile whereas Yamunapar is comparatively rugged in terrain; is somewhat a highland and lacks in fertility. The city falls within the low-risk belt of cyclones.
