Shot Of Hornets — Corrosive

Shot Of Hornets are an alternative rock trio from Mold, Wales about to release their debut EP Make Out A Picture on July 1st. Corrosive is the first single to be taken from the EP.

Shot of Hornets consist of brothers Daniel and Conor Cahalene and newfound friend Charlie Farnham. Conor is the band’s drummer (and apparently the world’s Okayest drummer too) and also the lead vocalist.

Corrosive is an anthemic pop rock tune that is radio friendly enough while still maintaining a heavier side to it. Conor’s vocals are remarkably strong.

They name Biffy Clyro, At The Drive-In and Fightstar among their influences and I’d be surprised if they hadn’t listened to some Funeral For A Friend in their teens. Stream Corrosive below.
