The Aces 2018 press shot

Having released their debut album When My Heart Felt Volcanic in April, Utah pop quartet The Aces have just dropped a video for one of its tracks, Last One. The new video was produced by the band and directed by the drummer Alisa Ramirez. Watch below.

The band comment on the video:

Doing something obvious for the song felt very vanilla to us, so when Alisa was writing the treatment we decided to go in a much more literal direction to define what The Last One means. The song is about being addicted to someone that’s taking over your life and it’s killing you, but instead of a person we wanted to use a poignant symbol that embodies addiction.

Coinciding with the video release, The Aces have announced they will be returning to the UK and Europe this November with stops in Glasgow, Manchester and at Dingwalls, London. Later this summer, they will be joining Five Seconds Of Summer on their U.S tour. Tickets for the November tour go on sale Friday, July 23rd at 10 AM BST.

When My Heart Felt Volcanic follows on from the I Don’t Like Being Honest EP which was released in the summer of 2017 to critical acclaim. The Aces spent most of 2017 and 2018 on the road with a sold out headline show at The Mercury Lounge and Hoxton Bar & Kitchen in London and shared the stage with the likes of Joywave and Portugal.
