Airways return with new single ‘Blue Gasoline’

Airways EU tour promo shot

Airways today drop their new single Blue Gasoline, which also marks their last release of the year. The track follows on from September’s Alien as well as their 2017 debut EP Starting To Spin. Listen to Blue Gasoline here.

New single Blue Gasoline is a little darker and more synths laden than their previous material. Vocalist Jake Daniels comments on the new track:

‘Blue Gasoline’ is an exciting one for us because it’s a new strand of the Airways sound, and it feels like the beginning of a more mature direction for us. We’re basically old men now and this song reflects that.

The band spent most of 2018 supporting Nothing But Thieves and playing their first ever European headline tour. This December, the Peterborough based quartet will hit the road again to support indie veterans Razorlight on their UK tour. All dates and ticket links can be found here.

Tour dates (with Razorlight):

December 13 — Rock City, Nottingham
December 14 — O2 Forum Kentish Town, London
December 17 — O2 Academy, Newcastle
December 18 — O2 Academy, Leeds
