With the release of their debut album only a months away, The Sherlocks today reveal its title track Live For The Moment. Catchy as ever, the track merely increases the anticipation for the quartet’s first full length which drops on August 18th via Infectious. Listen to the track below.

Will You Be There follows on from previous singles Will You Be There and Was It Really Worth It?, both reaching №1 in the Vinyl single charts. Drawing obvious comparisons from their influencers (The Jam, The Clash, Arctic Monkeys), the Sheffield four piece have introduced a whole new generation to the joys of British guitar music.

The Sherlocks comment on Live For The Moment:

Our lives have completely changed over the last few years, we started this band around 7 years ago as friends jamming a few songs out together in my dad’s garage. Over 1200 gigs later, we’re now here announcing something we will be eternally proud of. We can’t wait for you to hear it in its entirety. This one’s for you.

After a sold out UK Tour last September, The Sherlocks have been relentlessly touring the UK and have added even more dates to their mammoth tour schedule including joining Kings Of Leon and Richard Ashcroft as main support on their respective tours as well as numerous festival dates.

The band, consisting of two sets of brothers, have been steadily building a solid live following and were the first unsigned band since Arctic Monkeys to sell out their local venue the Sheffield Leadmill. Live For The Moment was The album was recorded at Rockfield Studios in Wales and produced by Gavin Monaghan.
