Neon Waltz drop new single, announce UK tour
Scottish quartet Neon Waltz, probably the UK’s most northern band, today reveal their new single The Stranger Things. Currently supporting Aussie trio DMA’s on their UK dates, the band have also announced a UK headline tour for March 2019.
Drummer Darren Coghill comments on the new song:
‘The Stranger Things’ is about making sure your priorities are inline. Or maybe even just about realising those priorities. It’s less frills. More balls. Not enough spring reverb. And too much heart.
The video for The Stranger Things sees the band play with all kinds of rock band cliches. The video was directed by by frontman Jordan Shearer who comments on making the video:
After I had the idea we took one day to film it and the editing took one night and one morning. I thought oiling up and prancing around like a tit would be hard, but it felt very natural, funnily enough.
Having toured with The Sherlocks and most recently with DMA’s, Neon Waltz have announced a run of headline dates across the UK including stops at London, Manchester and Leeds. All dates and ticket links can be found below this post.
