JOIN YOUR PALMS 🙏 TO UNLEASH THE POWER WITHIN

It is really thrilling to see how people nowadays have started using “Namaste” and “Namaskar” in their conversation worldwide. This simple hand gesture has a lot of hidden usefulness for our body, mind and soul. The best way to test the benefits of anything is by trying. I have dealt with negativity for a very long period in my life, almost for most of the shaping years. It was only after a lot of research done by me, I started implementing small changes in my lifestyle and witnessed big difference.
“Nama” means “I bow” and “te” means “you”
I would like to share my experience of how joining palms for 10 minutes/ day had an immense effect on my thought process. Generally, we attach “Namaste” with this hand gesture, which is amalgamation of two words. “Nama” means “I bow” and “te” means “you”. This gesture signifies a transfer of energy between two parties when they join their palms and bow to one another, letting go the feeling of ego and arrogance.
When we hold our folded palms close to our heart, we are balancing both right and left hemispheres of our brain🧠. This provides a balance in our logical and creative thinking giving us the ability to use both faculties of thought to produce optimum results. Also, when we join our hands, we press the tips of our all fingers and close our eyes to activate the pressure point in our brain to remember “whatever we are doing at that moment” for a long time.
During meditation, when we close our eyes and sit in Namaste posture, we are decluttering our mind, focusing on our breaths and opening our Heart Chakra.
Our body is made up of 5 elements i.e. Earth, Fire, Water, Air and Vacuum.
Our Heart chakra, which is located in the middle of our chest is associated with Air (Vayu), and is responsible for what, how and why we feel in a certain way in certain circumstances. It is the fourth out of seven chakras in our body and includes heart, cardiac plexus, thymus glands, lungs and breasts. Besides, Heart chakra also called “Anahata”, rules the lymphatic system as well. If “Anahata” is blocked, our emotional, physical and spiritual health would fall in danger. Since our heart, lungs and thinking ability are controlled by “Anahata”, its blockage can translate in poor blood circulation and high/ low Blood Pressure.
“A closed Heart chakra gives the feeling of anger, grief, jealousy, greed, malice, betrayal etc., which if kept unchecked, can grow into us developing manipulative behaviors”
Adulthood, people and places introduce us to new forms of feelings which is not innate to our true self and is developed as a result of external factors. A closed Heart chakra gives the feeling of anger, grief, jealousy, greed, malice, betrayal etc., which if kept unchecked, can grow into us developing manipulative behaviors. This feeling makes us insecure towards ourself and makes each and every move of our doubtful, whereas, an open Heart chakra makes us compassionate, forgiving, loving, caring and sympathetic not only to others but also towards ourselves. The condition and openness of our Heart chakra is responsible for our reaction on situations in our day to day life and that is why we all react differently to the same thing.

Let’s make ourself capable of grieving, thereby attaining tranquility and inner peace in the midst of conflict. Practicing this one simple hand gesture is going to help us in overcoming the emotional and spiritual blockages. I have tried this and it has positively impacted my life and it would feel blissful if I could make even one life better by telling my experience. Let’s learn how to master this art of controlling our energy and emanate positive vibrations so that the Universe gets our message and sends us the good in return.
To open your Heart chakra I.e. “Anahata”, sit in Sukhasan or Vajrasan. Try to focus on your breaths with eyes closed and hands joined and held close to the heart. Feel every bit of the experience. Be aware of vibrations happening in the forehead as a result of this deep and long breaths. Feel your chest opening up with every inhale and shrinking to nothingness with every exhale. Try to hold this posture for 5 minutes (initially) to 10 minutes. For faster results, surround yourself with green color, as this is the color associated with “Anahata”. This simple activity will declutter your mind in just few days and believe me, there is no happier feeling than to have the clarity in the mind.
I hope you would try this technique to open your Heart Chakra!
Thanks for your time and attention!
