Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s statue install will change India Gate’s History
The statue of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose will be installed at India Gate, the pride of India. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said that a grand statue of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose will be installed at India Gate.
This statue will be installed under the canopy located in front of the India Gate. Under this canopy used to be a statue of Emperor George V until the 1960s.
We know why Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose did not get the respect that the rest of the people got after the country got independence.
After all, why did it happen that Netaji’s contribution and sacrifice were ignored?
It is a matter of pride that Subhash Chandra Bose breathed new life into the Indian freedom struggle with slogans like “Tum Mujhe Khoon Do, Mai Tumhe Azaadi Dunga”, “Delhi Chalo” and “Jai Hind”.
