Tristan, if you can keep all your stakeholders involved in the primary research, that’s excellent. I did an experiment where I did a study without analyzing transcripts for patterns, and then I did analyze the transcripts. When I compared the results, the “from-memory” work covered about 1/3 of the patterns that I found when I did the formal analysis. Sometimes 1/3 is all you need for the time being.
