Let’s Cook: Chana Masala
Boil chana with salt and quarter spoon baking powder in pressure cooker for two whistles. Let the pressure disappear on its own.
Oil, Jira and Hing.
Add paste of onion, ginger and green chili to it. And cook it till it becomes brown.
Add chana masala, salt, haldi and red chili powder to it. And cook them well.
Add tomato paste and cook it till leaving oil on surface.
Mix boiled chana with it’s water (few cups). And cook it well for 5 to 10 minutes.
And that’s it.
