Let’s Cook: Moong Daal (Yellow)
Add water and salt to daal and soak for an hour.
Add a bit more water and ginger and green chili to it and cook slowly after covering it with lid.
After 20–30 mintues, daal will be boiled.
Take a separate pan. Add ghee, jira, rai and hing. Add cut onion to it. And neem patta. Let it cook. Add cut tomato to it. Let it cook further. Add red chili powder to it.
Add the “tadka” of Step 3 to daal from Step 2. Mix them well. Add a cup of water and bring it to boil once.
