According to Morton we are already fully embedded in the biosphere. It is impossible for us to ever be apart from it. Even if we would relocate to Mars, we would take the Earth with us. For we ourselves are a symptom of this biosphere. However, ever since the Neolithic Revolution humankind has been on the path to an increasingly unhealthy style of being ecological. The road to health is through recognition of the failure of trying to organize everything into neat little anthropocentric categories.
