Bowlcut Studios and Indy Gaming League (IGL) will be partnering to provide the very first online MageQuit league!

The league, called the “Spring Circuit” will kick off on April 6th, 2020, will be completely free to enter, and will be open to gamers on all platforms! Players from across the world will be able to compete against each other in a competitive format for Trophies, Player Awards, and other prizes!

MageQuit has both Free For All and Team versus Team game modes. Games last nine rounds and players draft a new spell before each of the first seven rounds. The Team with the most kills at the end of the nine rounds wins the match! MageQuit is currently available on Steam and Xbox One.

“Our mission at Bowlcut Studios is to create games that can be enjoyed with others and provide engaging multiplayer experiences,” said Brett Pennings, Co-Founder of Bowlcut Studios. “Indy Gaming League is a community-minded organization and that fits in perfectly with our mission! Our partnership with IGL allows us to bring a professionally run online league experience to the MageQuit community while still maintaining our vision!”

“A friend introduced me to MageQuit and connected me with Brett and Chad — I was instantly hooked on their game!” said Michael Tarnowski, Co-Founder/Chief Community Officer of Indy Gaming League. “We’re always looking for opportunities to partner with game developers who share our vision of creating accessible, community based experiences for all gamers. Our partnership with Bowlcut Studios brings an amazing new game to the IGL community!”

IGL Circuits last for 6 weeks and are followed by 4 weeks of playoffs. Each team plays one match per week and will have the opportunity to have their matches streamed on IGL’s Twitch channel or on channels that are a part of the Community Caster Network. Players can bring their own teams or use resources provided by IGL to find teammates.
