New things

It’s been a while while I actually have written anything here, or elsewhere. Well things went a little awry and I really didn’t have a motivation to even think about writing. Well, there was few times I was going to just vent of some steam in Medium but decided not to.

So yeah, I didn’t even think about writing in the last month or so, as I was really evaluating what I would like to do. I really like writing, but writing reviews or longer stuff in English is just not for me at this point. So after that was clear it was pretty clear that I wouldn’t waste my time to try post some news or reviews.

Some of you propably know that I was part of the Mobiletechtalk team (and Eurotechtalk before that) but I really didn’t write much lately. It is mostly because of the things I wrote couple lines up but the main thing was I lost the motivation for it, and I mean totally.

Changes and the Old things

So it was clear that the current situation wasn’t for me. And I am that kind of person that when I am not enjoying the thing I am supposed to do, I am not going to do it. That is kind of basic for everyone right?

So writing reviews and other stuff in English without getting anything out of it was a no-go. But the thing is, I like to write, I like to review gadgets and I LOVE tech. But if you are supposed to just try to get something done without getting anything to do it with it becomes and at the moment is totally pointless and waste of everyones time.

To fix this I needed to look for other options and I actually found one pretty easily but we will get to this “surprise” later.

Today (well actually really late last night) I have decided to leave MobileTechTalk team. I have nothing to give to the guys at MTT (and they don’t really have anything to me either) so why waste the time that would be needed. It’s been (mostly) fun but the last month or two have been total waste of time.

THE New Thing

So what to do to replace the MobileTechTalk part of my life? Well, it happens that there is a great finnish technology blog called SuomiMobiili (www.suomimobiili.fi). So I decided to contact them if they would need a writer / editor to their team. And they actually did. It was actually really quick when we started talking about writing stuff etc.

This is actually my third day with SuomiMobiili and I have already done so much more in these three days. The best part is that I get to do what I like, and I mean writing of course, and I get to do it with our native language. No need to think about things like “how would I write this in English” or “what was the English word for this” and so on.

Another great thing is that I actually get devices to review. Not much yet, but I have Moto G4 Plus coming in the next couple of days, and Moto Z is coming propably in September. And that is just the first ones, more will come if I want. We have a great little team over here and as it’s still purely based on voluntery work, we do as much as we want.

So if you know how to read and understand finnish, www.suomimobiili.fi is the place to check out.

See you there and in the Internets!

Over and out! (till the next time)
