This Was Written Because Brianna Wu’s Recent Spate of Blatant Lying Has Grated On Me.

Ever since Brianna Wu did that hilarious SyFy episode and followed up in the after episode review with a veiled reference to yours truly, it has galled me to no end how this dishonest and frankly incompetent narcissistic sociopath has continued to lie and display flagrant inability at their craft.

First off, the SyFy episode was just fifteen minutes of nonstop lying. Worse, lies that have already been debunked by tweets with Brianna Wu’s own admissions and articles by publications friendly to Wu that have conceded them, many of which even quote Wu’s own admissions.

I am deeply disgusted that both Wu and SyFy peddled such blatant bull, especially the known Jace Connors hoax, and both entities have no integrity whatsoever for pushing such disgusting falsehoods.

Second, Wu has desperately tried to suppress anyone calling out their lies, like myself, trans people like Transeye West (whose article I rehosted on my personal blog after Wu tried to viciously suppress their opinions here on Medium), and even tried to obtain the personal information of someone who asked Wu to provide public proof their Patreon donations were going to a real person (said person was a donor to this Patreon as far as I’m aware and wanted Wu to present something in public that all could be reasonably sure was not faked) and tried to denounce them as lying when Wu could not obtain leverage over them to apparently extort them into silence.

Third, I’ve seen some of the latest tweets Wu has made about how the development build of Revolution 60 runs poorly on a fairly modern laptop, and as a fellow game dev, my take is that, based on the issues described, that game sounds like it is in serious need of mesh and texture optimization and given how Wu seems to want to throw more graphics and processing power at the issue until it goes away…..well, that just tells me Wu either hasn’t done any optimization or has no idea how to despite claiming advanced knowledge of game design and development, and while I still hope all backers of Revolution 60 get the game they were promised in good faith, I’m of the opinion Wu is utterly incompetent but is pretending otherwise, and since even the original iOS release has massive amounts of issues reported by everyone who wasn’t obviously in Wu’s pocket, I have little reason to believe I’m in error.

Finally, I just want to sum up by saying this: Brianna Wu’s dishonesty has become only more malignant and disgusting with time, and I have no doubt Wu will try to attack me like Wu has done in the past, trying to get this taken off Medium even though I have violated no laws and am perfectly willing to defend everything I’ve said in open court should Wu wish to go that far, and to that I have this to say to Wu:

If you intend to do so, I look forward to the deposition, as frankly, your lies will not survive in a place where Twitter lynch mobs and “connections” mean nothing and you will face penalties for perjuring yourself.
