It’s funny how counter-productive our evolutionary habits are for us in modern life. We’re on the same wavelength Ben, I wrote a post about this very thing yesterday. The willingness to be mauled by those imaginary tigers is the price to pay for the essence of life. We have to be vulnerable to grow. The walls we put up actually block more than just pain; they cut us off from the intensely wonderful experiences we can live.
So just as the possibility of death gives value to life, the hardship of overcoming our fear gives higher value to experience.
I love how you weave all these wonderful truths together Benjamin.
Much love, stay grounded.
