You always said you wanted a smart man. That means he’s resourceful, he’s very likely to be professional, he makes smart jokes, and you can have interesting conversations. All these advantages come with a disadvantage. Or at least that’s what you’ll call it if you’re the fusion type, who wants to spend nonstop time with your partner. Intelligent men need a little more personal space, solitude, intimacy, without saying that the relationship is in trouble.

They are simply looking for evolution
This personal space is used for improvement. He reads, looks at documentaries, reads various studies, takes classes. All of this without getting you involved, which isn’t very pleasant sometimes when you’re lonely.

It’s rebalancing
He is intelligent, he knows himself very well and he is very much in contact with himself. And solitude gives him the chance to reflect, analyze the angles of a decision, scan his emotional state and rebalance it as he needs it.

It’s different
You might even say that slightly unusual, bizarre. Yeah, part of his charm is this eccentric researcher vibe. At the same time, maybe you’re a very sociable person, and he’s the lonelier, secluded type, if we think about more extensive interactions with other people, too.
