What is Holistic Healing and how to achieve balance with body and mind?
I am Kiran born and raised in country side of south India. I grew up in a traditional and very strict ritualistic practice family. From the early stage I was not happy with the way of doing rituals. Because one point I realized then was that these practices are alienating people from themselves and each other — from humanity.
I wasn’t able to study higher education, my spirit not succeed to go more on education, but I was attracted to more activities, such as sports, working on gym, martial arts and yoga
I worked in different fields, including working on the street. Lately I found the job, when I was searching food and shelter to sustain my life. Luckily I started as Ayurveda therapist along with Yoga practice and teaching.
During this time I met a lot of great teachers, inspirational people, healers and I was inspired by their practice.
With almost 8 to 10 years of working in the hospitality industry, I understood that these are great vibes when you connect with people; share their stories and my stories, interact with them from your heart, with clear mind and ‘Love’.
But still, I wasn’t happy with my situation, because such organisations have a lot of rules and restrictions. I was working abroad, in Germany, as well — but I always felt that I am different. My heart felt that I don’t belong there — I can do better than what I was doing. I can help people, I can do more impact, even though I don’t have any financial means.
Few years back, I decide myself why don’t I get my own platform, which I can combine with all my feelings and experiences, to make positive impact on the world.
This idea led me to start the ‘ Anahata Healing Arts’ project, in my village. I went back to the village where I grew up, among with the philosophy of Anahata of going back to the roots.

Our center is named ‘Anahata’ — According to the ancient Hindu yogic tradition Anahata is a 4th primary chakra, located in the heart region, which represents love, empathy, compassion and kindness.
Which is very similar to our philosophy: We need to connect each other, we all are living in a same source of light, we have one planet, one sun and one source of energy.
Nature has an abundance of energy, which it can take care of all living creatures on the planet. Humans are the only one living creature, which are able to destroy the world, with their intelligence. Unfortunately, we are often using our ‘Minds’ (superficial mind) much more than ‘Hearts’.
“Earth provides enough to satisfy every man’s needs, but not every man’s greed”, — Mahatma Gandhi
I believe in every religion because it tells us the same message, just in different ways. But those religious communities operate separated from each other and sometimes even fight against one another. Because of this reason, people and communities are getting mutually alienated, as well.
There is more and more war between the nations, communities, families. People are living in fear and very unhappy.
And educational systems educate mostly on what the present system required, mostly on digital life, materialistic life, very little on moral and philosophical education.
How do we think, can Anahata have a positive impact on these issues?
We believe and we are practicing the truth, love, humanity and kindness, which lets people become more in balance with themselves and their surroundings. Anahata is a place with good vibes and positive energy. We do not stick to a particular schedule, but let people just go with the flow. Listen to themselves, connect to nature.

The lifestyle at Anahata is simple, according to the Yoga philosophy. We serve vegetarian, locally grown food from our own farm, which itself inspires the guests with the colours and tastes of nature.
Here food makes special impact, helping them to clear the mind from rubbish things. Once the mind calms down and is focused, people start to see themselves more clearly, in a way who they as human beings really are. They start do understand to respect themselves. Because most of the our problems comes from our inner self.
Just spending the day, in Anahata with a Yoga, practicing and being with agriculture, and living with local community, and our strong core philosophy towards humanity — all this can make the visitors connect with their inner self, slow the pace and focus on things which are the most important in life.
Being in balance with your body and mind, stay calm and focused, respect yourself, humanity and nature — this is truely valuable and lets us find happiness.
“To Heel yourself, connect with nature.”
“Especially in our materialistic, high-speed, high-performance, increasingly high-tech world — with all the AI, IOT and digitalization, the simple human nature, mindfulness and humanity become truely precious goods,”
— Lisa Babenko, former Anahata volunteer from Germany and not member of Anahata team
