As was announced in our previous post, the first international workshop occured yesterday. The main goal was to clarify scope of our project, to setup the priorities and and share experience with our Estonian and international partners. Our partner from Estonia, Emphy shared own experience of building the blockchain based system for renting apartments.

Our advisor Kalev Karu pointed the most valuable directions for development of our product. Also we discussed current problems in healthcare, pharmacy and crypto areas. The discussion was very productive and very soon we will publish the road map we want to follow in order to get our project done.

Main result of the workshop is that we are going to focus on the individuals first by creation of an application helping usual people in their life to monitor their health status. We are working on the number of diseases we would like to prevent in the first iteration. The prevention would be based on the personal data collected from private data sources first such as iHealth, Nokia and Samsung. Also we are actively searching for partners for decision support systems, so that we can provide personal guidelines to our clients. In parallel, we plan to involve legal institutions in Estonia first, such as Estonian Health Insurance Fund and Estonian Health Information System (e-Tervis).

There will be more news soon. Keep watching.
