Being inspired when confronted with obstacles during life’s journey can seem impossible. If you keep pushing the circumstances, can strengthen you.

Join me has I unfold the challenges faced while going thru a 30 Day Bootcamp that involved creating 30 pieces of content in 30 days. During the 30 days, you could submit your content daily. Prior to midnight on the 30th, all content had to be submitted. The rules required the content to be:

Your own content

Must be new

Not to copy and paste old content

Written positively

During the month of October, I have never been so mentally challenged to produce 30 pieces of content in 30 days.

Understanding that practice can help improve my ability to create content, I accepted the challenge.

Challenges throughout life seem to only strengthen me.

Can you recall ever being challenged and then had second thoughts about what you signed up for?

Not knowing where this journey would take me here is a snapshot of what I experienced.

Bootcamp has been an incredible journey.

By Friday, on October 25, 2019, my friend Jackie congratulated me for finishing my written content, 14 written articles.

Prior to starting this challenge, I knew the written content would be my biggest hurdle. I am a slow writer. Content does not flow quickly in my head. This was also true for me in college.

The 2nd half of challenge required you to create 16 videos, set up a YouTube channel, and then upload the videos.

I only had a few days to complete my videos due to the amount time it took me to finish the written content. Unfortunately, we do not live in a perfect world.

If you have read this far, keep read and find out what happened.

Monday, October 28, 2019, I completed by research and did an outline for each YouTube video.

My friend Stephanie recommended doing an outline before recording videos. That was a great tip for me.

On Tuesday, October 29, 2019, I started my day at 9:20 am, downloaded more written content to medium.com.

Taking into consideration the obstacles I have been facing throughout this challenge, I backed up my written content in a Google doc.

Ok, back to video content:

Tuesday, October 29, 2019, it is now 5:00 pm (PST) and I’m ready to record my videos using zoom.us.

To my surprise, I cannot figure out why zoom.us is not working.

Another problem?

Really?

Ok back to my original plan, I will record my videos on my trustee iPhone 6S.

Tuesday, October 29, 2019, it is now 5:30 pm.

Oh, wait a minute I forgot to eat.

Who needs to eat!

I’m in Bootcamp.

My husband insisted that I eat dinner, and I did.

Now, at this point most people would give up and decide, there is no way I can do: “16 videos by Wednesday, October 30, 2019.”

“99% of the population would quit.”

1% thinkers are doers and figure things out.

I am a woman on a mission.

I’m not a quitter

I must keep going.

I have planted my flag.

This will not defeat me.

Bootcamp is not over.

7:00pm, Tuesday, October 29, 2019

Found a place at home to set up my iPhone 6S, including a light that my friend recommended I use.

I live in California (PST). The deadline was prior to midnight (EST).

7:30 pm Ready to record videos.

Finished recording 16 videos, and it is nearly midnight.

Now, I can use my iPhone 6S to upload to my Google drive, then to YouTube.

Surprise!

Another problem!

Long sorry short I figured out how to used “google takeaway” to get my videos onto the YouTube platform.

One of my mentors always said, “Learn to be resourceful.” That advice was valuable to me considering the circumstances I’ve faced during this challenge.

This has been a journey.

I stayed awake until 6:30 am on Wednesday, October 30, 2019.

I pressed SUBMIT.

I finished Bootcamp!

It was worth it.

Pushing myself beyond measure.

This has been the greatest challenge I have ever done.

This Bootcamp challenge was sponsored by an online educational platform and has helped me take my online business to another level.

Words, I am lost for words. Super excited and look forward to bigger wins. Along the way, I am enjoying the small victories.

Never give up.

Finally, I can sleep. Good Night.

Until next time,

When you know what you want and you want it bad enough you will find a way to get it. Jim Rohn
