Ranvir Shah — A Visionary Indian Business Leader

Ranvir Shah is an Indian businessman, social activist, and cultural catalyst. He was born in Mumbai, Ranvir Shah was schooled in different parts of the world; namely Mumbai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, and the US. After finishing his schooling at Cathedral and John Cannon School Mumbai, he did his plus two at Hassaram Rijhumal (HR) College. Shah holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Vivekananda Evening College, Chennai.

Ranvir Shah belongs to a Jain business family. He came to Madras from Bombay as a young boy in 1980 when his father started the garment business. Ranvir Shah used to work with his father at the factory which helped him to know the business at a very early age.

Ranvir Shah, with his sheer hard work and dedication, has managed to be leading several business ventures. He is the Managing Director of P.S. Apparels, India & India Agro Exports. Let’s take a look at a few of his business ventures.

PS Exports and Consolidates –

PS Exports is India’s one of the leading apparel manufacturing and export companies based in Chennai. The company was started in the 1970s along with the “Bleeding Madras” fabric boom by Ranvir’s late father Mr. Ranjit Shah, a first-generation entrepreneur. PS Exports specialized in finely crafted men’s shirts for the American market.

The company was started small with 10 hand-operated foot pedal machines, today with the hard work of the MD Ranvir Shah it continues to uphold the core values that started it, PS Exports is one of India’s leading menswear, womenswear, and children’s wear with a fabric weaving mill, international quality factories, and an in-house laundry facility. It has design offices in Chennai, India and New York, USA.

Indian Agro Exports (IAE) –

Ranvir Shah is the Director of Indian Agro Exports, an agro exporting company in South India. IAE, established at the turn of the 21st century, takes pride in providing high-quality agricultural products at affordable prices to customers globally.

IAE has established relationships with farmers, agents and food entrepreneurs in the Agri-rich states of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka in South India and also in Gujarat. IEA works with more than 500 farmers in a given season and over 1000 in a year.

Shanta Ayurveda Hospital –

Ranvir Shah is Managing Partner of PS Hospitals which operates Shanta Ayurveda Hospital. The hospital was started to provide holistic, natural, and effective treatment.

Ranvir Shah is a strong believer in Ayurveda medicine and with Shanta Ayurveda Hospital he aims to help people in treating chronic diseases.
