How Sobriety Changed Me

As I read this, I’m celebrating 23 months today. I really identified with it’s something i don’t even consider anymore. Never thought I could not have a glass of wine, but the wine was having me so had to change. There are moments, but far and few. I did it my own way, too, which is the best. If it doesn’t resonate, you won’t stay with it. Whatever “it” is. Thanks for sharing and being open. More people need to know it’s OK to stop. It’s not a requirement in life. You can still go out and socialize without it. It’s a personal choice. All that matters is what’s good for you.
