Nitrocin is indicated for:
- Control of blood pressure in perioperative hypertension i.e. hypertension associated with surgical procedures especially cardiovascular procedures such as the hypertension seen during intratracheal intubation, anaesthesia, skin incision, sternotomy, cardiac bypass and in the immediate infaraction.
- Congestive heart failure associated with acute myocardial infraction.
- Treatment of angina pectoris in patients who have not responded to recommended doses of organic nitrates and / or a beta blocker.
- Production of controlled hypotension during neurosurgical and orthopaedic surgical procedures.
Storage: Store in cool dry place and protect from light.
Presentation: Nitrocin (Nitroglycerin Injection) is available as 25 ampoules of 25 mg/ 5 ml with a package insert in the box.
Nitrocin (Nitroglycerin Injection) is available as 5 ampoules of 50mg/ 10ml with a package insert in the box.
