Why Do You Do What You Do?

How often do you sit down and think or even write down the reasons for doing the work that you do?

I never really contemplated it much, especially when I was employed. Because I always thought that I worked because I needed money to cover the bills, to take care of the children and to feel good about what I was doing.

It wasn’t until my mentor, challenged me with the question WHY this business? That I really took the time to think about it.

So, I meditated upon the question.

And this is what was channelled to me.

“Because I want to teach women the tools to self-manage their health, wealth and well-being.

So that they can empower themselves to be independent

To spread their own message

To ultimately empower women to take over their part of the world

Creating more love, peace and harmony for everyone

Spreading feminine energy to heal the planet

To shine their light

To be ambassadors for change

To inspire, encourage, support and nurture others

To stand in their own power.

And if I don’t do what I am being called to do, then too many women will remain trapped, prisoners of their past and dependent on others to keep propping themselves up.

And I’m the best person for the job because I’ve been in the depths of the darkest places anyone can go and I’ve fought back against systems and services that would have had me drugged up and dependent on them for the rest of my life, I’ve overcome trauma, abuse and all manner of obstacles to find peace, self love, acceptance and fulfilment.

And if I can do it, so can anyone!”

Wow that felt good to get in touch with.

So now it’s your turn.

What is your WHY?

Reflect on the question, give yourself time, grab a pen and paper and allow whatever comes out to just flow, without judgement, without editing. Just allow yourself to get in touch with what truly drives you.

Feel free to share with me what came up for you.

And if any of the above resonated with you and you are feeling called to work with me, send me a message (info@jane-jackson.co.uk) and let’s discuss how I can help you.

Have a blissful week,

Much love
