I am amazed by the arrogance of the viewpoint that something one believes or feels is equated with indisputable reality. I think it’s a form of doublethink: It can’t possibly be a legitimate position for anyone with an education (as evidenced by the literacy of people spouting it), because it has no basis in any rationality, logic, truth-value or sebjective-objective distinction. I think that feminists have used manipulative rhetoric (and censored any debunking) for so long that they actually believe their own crap. Either that, or the rational mind is simply overwhelmed by hysterical sentiment that it just shuts down. The parallel with fundamentalist religion is striking.
