You’re further illustrating my point. If — as you claim — 80% of people support what arguably were tenets of feminism’s 1st wave, but a similar proportion now reject feminism, then it’s reasonable to assume that feminism has an image problem. People just don’t believe feminism is fighting for these principles anymore, or that it’s necessary for securing or upholding them. The militancy and fanaticism, particularly of 3rd wave feminism haven’t helped: when you stoop to ad hominem, shaming, straw men, false equivalence and generally abandon logic and scientific method, people stop believing in your good or truthful intentions.
