Different types of Kitchen

Some of the different layouts of the kitchen which are commonly found in India are-

Straight Kitchen — Also known as one wall kitchen. In this layout, cooking, appliances, storage, sink etc streamlines to one wall, so everything is in easy reach. The user have limited counter space area in this layouy, however we can maximise the space by using more compact appliances.

L-Shape- Most of the properties are offering L-shape kitchen layout to their customers. This layout is popular in open-kitchen concepts. It is a smart option for small to medium sized kitchens and, depending on how much extra space you have, you can include a dining area also.

Parallel Kitchen — Great for small spaces, the parallel kitchen has two runs of worktops and units with a walkway in the middle. It offers an efficient use of space. Mostly recommended if there are not too many hands using the kitchen at the same time.

Island Kitchen- This is one of the premium kitchen where you have the luxury of space. In this type we have a unit at the kitchen of the kitchen which can be the cooking space, breakfast counter or utensil space.
