To Wait Or To Create
Life is about finding that sweet spot between when to wait and when to create, between to do in moderation and to do with intensity.
Whether when we’re cooking, pitching a business proposal or even doing parenting, it has the same principal.
The quality of the results relies on how you find that sweet spot between when to wait and when to create, when to go with moderation when to intensify. It’s all about balancing the amount of your efforts and catalyzing.
I call this an art.
As a common saying that says that sometimes timing is a b*tch. Well it is not exactly like that. Time is sometimes a catalyst to a process.
Another key is to know well whether it’s going to the right direction or not. And in order to do so, do your research, have a mentor or even talk to others within the same business, hobbies or responsibilities. (accordingly to which sense of the above examples)
And finally, to know what to do in the wait. A cook knows well about this. A good cook doesn’t wait and stare water to boil. Go chop some onions, get all the ingredients prepared. Although sometimes you just need to enjoy your glass of wine while waiting. Just know what and when.
So to summarize on finding the sweet spot in life are these:
1. Know when the entry point, when to create and the ingredients.
2. Do the research and learn about the process well.
3. Know your direction.
4. Bear in mind that timing might play as catalyst.
