What is the point of being as everyone else?

There is one good explanation for that. And a lot of reasons against that.

Doing things that have been done for thousands of times make you feel comfortable thinking that you are doing the right thing. Nobody can tell you are wrong, everyone understands you. And you easily fit in a crowd. That’s great, right?

Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. — Steve Jobs

Valid is not always true

But since when opinions and beliefs the community pushes and makes must be true? Something that’s widely accepted is not necessarily true and valid. Of course the answer to everyday things have only one answer but questions considering moral cannot be looked the same way. Moral by definition is a product of the society but we should not blindly follow this definition.

Help that one man nobody else wants. Be the one who will do something nice when nobody else will. Just because a falsely good people say: “It is not good for your image” — do it! Tore that image of the false and be the true good man. Thinking with your own head and having your own ways will enrich your life and make you more happy and strong. No change of climate can change you. A paraphrase of a quote that I vaguely remember:

If you don’t follow the trends, you can’t be out of trend.
There are a lot of trends to follow…

Rise above the average foolishness

This should be applied to personal beliefs and a strong individual should never be a sheep. I just personally think everyone should try to be unique and individual. And since you are reading this: rise above the average, no matter how hard it might seem, it is not.

Even though nobody saw what you did, someday they will.

Can you remember all the great men? Not to single anyone out. Just picture one. They all could have gone down the same path as anyone else. But what made them possible to be great? I’m not saying rich or famous. What made them great? They shouted and stuck with their idea long enough.

Picturing them all eccentric made me think what differentiates a crazy man and a genius. Why were they called genius in the end and not crazy?

The number of people who heard their story and said: “that could work” was big enough. So shout, even if nobody believes you. Shout until you are heard.
