Follow-up and follow-through. The key to developing a relationship between yourself and another person. The follow-up shows to the other that they mean something to you. The follow-through means you accomplished what you set out to do. They became a friend, a business partner, a client, maybe a husband/wife. Part of follow-through is delivering value to others. Demonstrating that you may have a solution to a problem and solving that problem. You may even have an opportunity to over-deliver a solution which in some cases can really develop a long-term relationship, one that mutual benefits the respective parties.
