Building Global Innovators
Ingen.io at semifinals in the international competition
In tough international competition (130 applications from 31 countries) Ingen.io was shortlisted in a select group of 20 promising startups that will compete in the Building Global Innovators challenge for up to EUR 200K investment and numerous networking and investment opportunities.
This is the fifth edition of BGI, each year the competition gets tougher and tougher, with a record 60% of incorporated companies applying for this batch. This only makes us prouder.

The effort we put into the application process paid off and we were among the only 47 teams invited to a video interview with Gonçalo Amorim, the Program Director of MIT Portugal’s — Innovation & Entrepreneurship Initiative. The interview went well, we managed to convey the potential of Ingen.io and the support we expect from the program and secured our place at the semifinals of the competition.
We are eager for the program kick-off on Monday at the University Institute in Lisbon, Portugal. Expect more updates on our return. In the meantime, here is the official press.
Adeus!
