Hash Hao, co-founder and chief strategy officer at the Ink Foundation, was invited by CNBC on a TV interview to talked about China’s regulation on blockchain.

As Ink is making a disruptive move to the IP industry, it has invariably caught the public attention. Ink is seen as a frontier and authority of the blockchain space. CNBC has therefore organized a special TV Interview and invited co-founder of Ink, Hash Hao to comment on the regulation of blockchain in China.

Here is a summary of the interview

On regulation:
Hash: “Chinese government is very pro-blockchain technology. If you are a company, it still encourages you to adopt blockchain technology, and if you are a young people you are still encouraged to work for blockchain technology or any blockchain company. So right now I think the regulations will only make the game better because regulation will help (to protect) the rights of the investors, making the technology more adopted by mainstream investors. So in the long run, it is a good thing.”

On regulator:
Hash: “The regulator needs more time. In China, they need this sandbox strategy that allow entrepreneurs to do experimental entrepreneurships within that sandbox. We do foresee that in the future China is going to (have more potential)…. Because China is a huge market no matter in terms of investments or supply of talents. So in the long term, we believe that the regulators can figure out how we can regulate the market and make it work.

On Future Prospect:
I have seen a strong supply of talents, great projects, and great innovations in terms of blockchain technology from China and also from other parts of Asia.
